Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Cath Lab and IR Department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. • Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, radiologists, and emergency teams to optimize patient flow, safety, and care quality. • Oversee the execution of the Comprehensive Stroke Center and STEMI Program protocols, ensuring rapid, evidence-based interventions. • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to maintain a highly competent and engaged clinical team. • Monitor compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards. • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes. • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among staff. Candidate requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. • California Registered Nurse License upon hire. • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. • NNR Certification for employees in L&D, NICU, Nursery, or Postpartum (Postpartum - within 90 days of hire; Other areas - within 180 days of clinical orientation). • California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire. • Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience; Cath Lab or IR leadership experience preferred.
