Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to oversee key projects at a Nuclear Plant. This role will serve as the single point of accountability for all phases of assigned projects, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through to implementation. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders, manage project plans, and provide regular updates on project status. This individual must be capable of working independently while maintaining unescorted access to the nuclear facility. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of assigned projects, including estimation, funding requests, project planning, and execution. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines. Coordinate and hold regular meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver project updates. Track project progress and resolve any issues, ensuring successful project implementation. Maintain unescorted access to the Harris Nuclear Plant and ensure all safety protocols are followed. Balance on-site presence with remote work as needed, in collaboration with the site manager. Desired Experience & Qualifications: Industry Experience: Minimum of 11 years of project management experience, with a preference for prior experience in the commercial nuclear industry. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Expertise: In-depth knowledge of project management principles, decision-making, critical thinking, risk management, problem-solving, and leadership. Additional Skills: Strong project oversight, employee management and development, and risk management capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Education: Master's degree in Business (MBA), Project Management, or a related field. Certifications: PMP or CAPM certification, CMII/Construction certifications, or a Professional Engineer license.
