Job Title: Logistics Analyst I Location: Sterling Heights, MI Duration: 7+ Months Max Pay Rate: $32.41 About the Role The Logistics Analyst I will support Logistics Management Information (LMI) activities for assigned defense programs. In this role, you will be responsible for executing provisioning tasks, developing logistics support documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable military standards. You will collaborate with engineering, program teams, and customers to ensure accuracy and completeness of all provisioning and logistics data. Responsibilities Execute provisioning tasks, including research, data preparation, loading, manipulation, and ongoing maintenance of provisioning parts data. Develop and deliver provisioning documentation to internal and external customers using industry-standard provisioning and sparing methodologies. Create and maintain Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR) documentation in alignment with applicable military standards. Prepare technical content for Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB), Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTL), and data for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs). Analyze spare and repair parts requirements and support development of project estimates. Participate in customer and internal meetings, validations/verifications, logistics demonstrations, and technical reviews. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to support logistics analysis and provisioning decisions. Required Qualifications Associate degree in a relevant discipline with 6+ years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of related experience. Military experience may be considered in place of formal education. Strong understanding of military standards used for LMI development. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Knowledge of provisioning processes, logistics design influence, and forecasting support requirements. Experience using LMI tools, LSA/LSAR systems, and related logistics software. Proficient computer skills with demonstrated ability to manage technical data and documentation. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with LMI systems and applications within a defense or military environment. Basic understanding or awareness of the ten Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements. Prior involvement in technical reviews, data validations, logistics demos, or provisioning activities.
