As a Locksmith, you will be installing, replacing, and repairing locks, installing new safety devices such as deadbolts or electronic locks, and making duplicate keys for doors, carts, and other objects. You will also assist clients with entering their homes or vehicles, maintain and repair equipment, and keep excellent records of all client interactions, repairs, and inventory. The ideal candidate has previous experience with locks, has an excellent eye for detail, and has strong customer service skills.ResponsibilitiesRepair or replace many types of locks in many settingsUse different tools to make copies of keys of all sizesInstall new locks, deadbolts, and other safety devicesMaintain and repair all equipment, as neededKeep meticulous records of clients and inventoryGo out to client calls as needed and assist with lock issuesQualificationsPrevious experience with locks requiredStrong attention to detailExcellent customer service skills
