Cloud Solutions Engineer III

Hybrid role - candidates must live within commuting distance (approx. 1 hour) of Richmond, VAThe Cloud Solutions Engineer III will lead the design, implementation, and management of the organization's cloud infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of cloud environments, as well as providing support for related services such as networking, storage, and identity management. Essential Job Statements Lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions to meet business requirements. Oversee the management and maintenance of cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components Monitor and troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance. Implement and manage cloud security policies and configuration settings. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate cloud services with on-premises systems and applications Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for cloud environments. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff. Mentor and train junior team members. Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience: Minimum of6+years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role.Proventrack recordof leading the design and implementation of cloud solutions. Experiencemanaging and troubleshooting complex cloud environments.Hands-on experience with cloud resource management.Experience in integrating cloud services with other IT systems and applications.
