WorkSource in NWA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a Springdale AR facility. To qualify, you should have stable work history and industrial maintenance experience. Maintenance Tech - 6 pm to 6 am This is a rotating 2-3-3 schedule Pay depends on experience A Maintenance Tech repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines. Requirement: One year certificate from college or technical school or, 2 years related experience/ training or, equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and reading schematics. Basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of welding and cutting; Welding Certificate a plus Be able to complete required daily paperwork, have basic computer skills. Forklift, Bobcat and Airlift Certification ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other duties may be assigned) Evaluate work environment for safe working conditions prior to any work being performed Responsible for LOTO procedures Observes, dismantles, examines, inspects and adjusts mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and machinery. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs specific functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts and machinery. Assists in the company preventative maintenance program. Works with electrician to diagnose and repair electrical equipment. Starts devices to test their performance.
