Clinical-Scientific - Bench Scientist • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with NMR spectrometers • Solve complex regio- and stereoisomer structures by NMR • Lead and coordinate NMR lab relocation activities • Drive automation and workflow improvements • Advanced degree in Chemistry or related field, with demonstrated NMR structure elucidation experience • Proficiency in Bruker NMR platforms • Experience with NMR hardware and troubleshooting • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Commitment to safety and collaboration • Be part of a collaborative team making a real difference in drug discovery • Work onsite in a state-of-the-art lab environment Hard Skills: • Experience with NMR hardware and troubleshooting • Solve complex regio- and stereoisomer structures by NMR • Lead and coordinate NMR lab relocation activities Qualifications Must-Have • Bachelor's Degree • 2+ years of experience • Experience in compound structural analysis by NMR-based and Mass Spectrometry methods. • Working knowledge of NMR-instrumentation and hardware. • Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques and working knowledge of HPLC and purification techniques. • Interact effectively with peers and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team and thrive in a fast-paced environment • Effective communication skills Nice-to-Have • Broad knowledge of various analytical software packages (e.g. Agilent, ACD Labs, Bruker, etc). • Proficiency with basic NMR instrument upkeep and troubleshooting issues. • Experience with logistics around lab set-up after a site move. • Familiarity with development/execution of workflows for the parallel purification and analysis of compound libraries.
