About the job Tier 3 Network Engineer (CCIE) Job Title: Tier 3 Network Engineer (CCIE)Location: Littleton, CO (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Experience: 5+ years (Mid-Senior) Education: Bachelors in IT/Networking or related Key Requirements:Active CCIE Certification (Mandatory) Enterprise Infrastructure or Service Provider 5+ years in service provider/networking with expertise in: BGP, ISIS, MPLS, 5G ORAN (Open RAN) Lab testing, cell site routers, AWS cloud networking Strong design, troubleshooting, and documentation skills Core Responsibilities: Lab Network Deployment Design, configure, and manage lab hardware/software for 5G ORAN. Technical Leadership Act as SME for 5G ORAN lab projects and mentor junior engineers. Troubleshooting Resolve issues in on-prem (cell site routers) and AWS environments. Testing & Optimization Develop test plans to validate 5G ORAN performance. Documentation Maintain detailed network design, standards, and best practices. Critical Notes: Telecom/5G background preferred Prior work with DISH, carriers, or RAN vendors is a plus.
