Role : Business Analyst Duration: Short-term (3 months - potential for extension) Start date: immediate Location: Remote (open to EST and PST hours) Here's what sets this role apart from our other typical BA roles: Experience working in a SaaS marketplace/appexchange Experience writing and managing test cases, backlogs, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and technical solution documentation. Familiarity with UX persona testing and user-centered design principles. Proficient with Jira for backlog management and issue tracking. Skilled in using Google Workspace apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). JD Job Title: Business Analyst Job Summary: This role is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring that technical solutions are aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for solving complex business challenges. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Understand business objectives and ensure technical solutions are aligned and documented accordingly. Specify data and reporting metrics for post-launch performance monitoring, reconciliation, and governance. Develop test case scenarios and design test approaches. Coordinate and lead test events, including combined QA and UAT efforts across multiple development teams. Partner with operations to ensure scalable, efficient, and practical solutions for ongoing execution in partner operations, partner programs, and user experience. Facilitate trade-off discussions to balance technical feasibility with business impact. Analyze data and business processes to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings. Assist in the design and implementation of new business solutions and systems. Support project management activities including planning, tracking, and reporting. Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions. Facilitate workshops and meetings to align cross-functional teams. Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements through testing and validation. Desirables: Strong understanding of business processes and project management methodologies. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
