Job Description: Maintenance Technician - 1st ShiftLocation: Elkhart, IN Pay: $30-$35/hr.+ (based on experience) Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM | Expect 40-50 hours/week with occasional Saturday mornings Responsibilities: As a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep operations running smoothly by handling: Preventive maintenance: Regular inspections and service on equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) Breakdowns: Fast, effective repair response Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues using schematics, multimeters, blueprints, and tools Repairs: Motors, conveyors, belts, pipefitting, steam/water systems Safety: Follow strict protocols (LOTO), participate in audits Qualifications: Strong electrical troubleshooting skills are a must Proactive, organized, and safety-minded Strong communicator with a sense of urgency Comfortable in a loud, fast-paced industrial environment Willing to work occasional Saturday mornings for preventive maintenance or projects Perks & Benefits: Stable industry & job security Training & growth opportunities Flexible with scheduling for life events or appointments Benefits after 60 days: Medical, dental, vision, and 401k PTO is negotiable
