MS SQL Server DBA

Job Description: Database Administrator (DBA)Experience: 5-7+ Years Skills: SQL (Core), Salesforce (Add-on) Role & Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and maintain enterprise databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching across environments Handle backup, recovery, disaster recovery planning, and routine health checks Tune complex SQL queries, indexes, and database performance issues Implement and enforce database security, access controls, and compliance standards Work closely with application, DevOps, and cloud teams to support deployments and releases Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions with minimal downtime Prepare and maintain database documentation, SOPs, and runbooks Salesforce (Add-On Responsibilities) Support Salesforce data operations, including data loads, exports, and integrations Work with Salesforce teams on data synchronization between Salesforce and SQL databases Assist in troubleshooting Salesforce data issues and reporting discrepancies Ensure data integrity and consistency across Salesforce and backend systems Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in SQL (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning) Experience with relational databases (MySQL / SQL Server / PostgreSQL / Oracle) Expertise in backup, recovery, and database monitoring tools Good understanding of production support, SLAs, and incident management Ability to work independently and handle client-facing responsibilities Good to Have / Add-On Skills Salesforce data model understanding and integration experience Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL) Knowledge of automation and scripting (Shell / PowerShell / Python) Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders Ownership mindset and ability to work independently with clients
