Our Programs: PreK-8 Academic Program Emphasizes Direct Instruction and Precision Teaching Focuses on core academic skills: reading, writing, and mathematics Tailored for students with learning disabilities and neurodiverse profiles Clinical ABA Program (Ages 3-13) Cognition-linguistically based, focusing on cognitive skill and social behavior learning Integrates Applied Behavior Analysis with effective teaching strategies Individualized, data-driven instruction aimed at building foundational skills Our Core Values: Commitment to Direct Instruction and instructional design Precision Teaching and data-based decision making Instruction grounded in behavioral science research Prioritized Occupational Therapy alongside ABA for sensory motor development Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of School to lead ExcelPrep. The ideal candidate will embody our mission and values, providing strategic leadership to enhance our programs and create a nurturing, academically focused environment for neurodiverse students. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Vision Develop and articulate a strategic vision for the school Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in instructional methodologies Program Development Oversee the implementation and evaluation of academic and clinical programs Ensure alignment with best practices in education and behavioral science Staff Management Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of educators and therapists Promote professional development opportunities and a collaborative work environment Community Engagement Build strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders Advocate for neurodiverse learners within the community and educational systems Administration & Compliance Manage school operations, budgets, and regulatory compliance Utilize data-driven decision-making to improve student outcomes Qualifications: Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field (Doctorate preferred) Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in educational settings Strong understanding of neurodiversity, ABA principles, and instructional design Proven track record in program development and staff management Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Why Join ExcelPrep?
