Senior Solutions Architect

Soni Resources is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect - Digital & API Platforms to play a key role in a large-scale digital transformation focused on APIs, customer portals, and modern web experiences. This role blends hands-on architecture with strong communication and storytelling, partnering closely with engineers, product teams, and leadership. You'll design and guide scalable, cloud-native solutions while helping shape the future of our digital and API platforms. What You'll Do Architect cloud-native, API-first solutions across digital portals, web interfaces, and data platforms. Design and document solution architectures, diagrams, and technical roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards. Lead architectural design for APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and large-scale data environments. Collaborate with Product Owners, Agile teams, and engineers to deliver high-impact digital features. Provide architectural guidance on React-based portals, Node.js services, and Azure data pipelines. Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, reusable solutions. Communicate complex ideas clearly-explaining the "why" behind architectural decisions to technical and non-technical audiences. Coach and mentor engineers and emerging architects; contribute to communities of practice. Technology Environment Cloud: Microsoft Azure (hybrid environments) Data: Databricks, Data Factory, Delta Lake, Synapse Digital: React portals, Node.js APIs Architecture: Microservices, event-driven systems, API-first design Focus Areas: Customer experience, portals, product-driven delivery, AI-enabled tooling What We're Looking ForRequired 5+ years in solution or application architecture3+ years designing solutions on AzureStrong experience with APIs, microservices, and modern web architecturesHands-on background with React, Node.js, and cloud-native development Experience translating technical concepts for business stakeholders Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong communicator and storyteller who can present architecture clearly Preferred Azure Solutions Architect certification (AZ-305 or equivalent) TOGAF / ArchiMate experience Financial services background (commercial lending or leasing a plus) Familiarity with secure coding, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability Compensation: $130,000-150,000 annually Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
