Job Overview The Garden Care Team Member plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty and health of our clients' landscapes throughout the seasons. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in detailed work, and are eager to learn about plant care and landscape maintenance. Team Members work under the direction of a Team Leader and contribute to seasonal services including spring and fall cleanups, as well as ongoing summer garden maintenance. Responsibilities and Duties Lead and direct daily garden care operations at assigned properties Perform and supervise garden maintenance including pruning, edging, weeding, mulching, debris removal, and plant care Monitor plant health and communicate concerns to the Production Manager as needed Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and debris Train and coach team members on proper horticultural practices and equipment use Provide constructive feedback and reinforce attention to detail with team members Oversee crew time tracking, including clock in/out procedures Coordinate and release materials as needed for each site Ensure all work meets company quality standards prior to leaving each property Maintain a clean, organized truck and trailer Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding job progress, challenges, and material needs Operate tools and equipment safely and enforce all safety guidelines and company procedures Other duties as assigned Job Requirements High school diploma (degree in horticulture recommended). Demonstrate professionalism and strong communication skills with clients, team members, and management Foster teamwork, accountability, and pride in workmanship Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work Reliable attendance and ability to work long days as project schedules require Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including heat and humidity Ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and work on uneven surfaces and terrain Must possess and maintain a valid Michigan Driver's License. A CDL with class C endorsement is preferred.
