Job Description

SCOPE OF POSITION The Business Systems Analyst is responsible to coordinate the operation and data integrity of the QAD/MFGPRO system at all locations including ensuring transactions/entries conform to Company Policy, provide support to optimize the use and adoption of Client Business systems at all Company locations; and assist in development and maintenance of QAD system and Client Business Systems. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct user training including proper procedures for Data input/Data input corrections. Write and/or update procedures as required. Provide System/Data Support for all sites. Ensure Client Policy and procedures are used and followed, steer employees away from using offline tools to ensure consolidated, uniform reporting is not corrupted. Develop new procedures and train users in use of new procedures. Co-ordinate writing of custom programs to extract data and reports from the QAD system. Analyze, spec & test change requirements for the system. Assist with Inventory analysis, validation, and cycle count, when requested. Assist in analyzing costs. MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES N/A KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Extensive contact with client employees, provides training and troubleshooting of any problems. Contact with Senior Executives and Branch Management to develop new solutions or provide Contact with Controllers and Finance members at all sites to train on new and existing System and Procedures and problem resolution. FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS Regular use of computers, telephones & misc. office equipment. Ability to organize complex tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work without supervision. International travel required. Must be able to be on call after regular business hours. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Some physical effort required (travel). WORK ENVIRONMENT Office/Office in home QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 4-year degree in business or accounting and more than 10 years' experience as a Controller or Financial Analyst. QUALIFICATIONS - SKILLS Extensive working knowledge of Client Business systems. Knowledge of basic networking, hardware, and software. Strong analytical skills. Familiarity with IT concepts, practices, and procedures. Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
