Job DescriptionRole Summary We are seeking a Hands-On Technical Project Lead to provide end-to-end technical leadership on medium to large initiatives across applications, integration, data, and infrastructure. You will design, build, and guide delivery of multi-layered solutions that enable cloud migration, API enablement, integration modernization, and AI-driven insights. Working closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects, product leaders, and senior developers, you will own key design decisions, contribute code on complex components, and ensure solutions align to enterprise standards and regulatory expectations-particularly within Financial Services environments. Your leadership will accelerate delivery while reducing technical debt and improving system reliability. Key Responsibilities Define and drive solution architecture, design patterns, and technical approaches-then participate directly in implementation. Lead development of complex, high-risk, or performance-critical components, APIs, and integration workflows. Apply modern patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven) and cloud-native principles to build scalable, secure services. Advance enterprise initiatives: cloud migration, API strategy, open-source adoption, integration modernization, and AI-enabled automation. Build and validate proof-of-concepts (including AI/ML prototypes), and transition successful POCs into production-ready designs. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, regulatory controls, and industry standards (including Financial Services). Create and maintain solution diagrams, data flows, sequence diagrams, and technical documentation with clear, actionable detail. Review code, enforce engineering standards, mentor developers, and champion CI/CD, testing, and observability practices. Key Requirements 12+ years of comprehensive IT experience including hands-on development and integration; 8+ years in a technical lead/lead developer role with direct coding responsibility. Strong programming skills in Java and/or JavaScript/Node.js; proficiency building APIs and microservices. Hands-on experience with integration platforms/tools (e.g., IBM Integration Bus/ACE, MuleSoft, Boomi, Kong, WebSphere MQ/ESB, Apache Kafka, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management). Solid understanding of data formats (JSON, XML, CSV, YAML, EDI) and enterprise databases (DB2, Oracle). Proven delivery in cloud architectures, event-driven systems, messaging, and AI/ML platform integration. Deep familiarity with testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability (logs/metrics/traces), and production support practices. Experience in Financial Services or similarly regulated environments; strong grasp of security, compliance, and IT risk management. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead through design and hands-on coding. Preferred & Certifications Background in AI/ML technologies, process optimization, cost efficiency, and enterprise transformation. Experience working in Agile/SCRUM and hybrid delivery environments. Recommended certifications (one or more): AWS/Azure Architect or Developer, IBM IIB/ACE, Boomi, Kubernetes, Certified Machine Learning. Additional Information No sponsorship or visa transfer available. Flexibility to work varied hours; may include holidays and weekends as required. Domestic and international travel may be required.
