UIUX Designer Internship

UI/UX Summer Internship Overview:Surge Staffing is looking for a positive, motivated UI/UX intern to join the creative team! We are a smallteam that works closely and collaborates on most projects. Our goal is to find someone thatworks well with us and has a willingness to learn and grow in a corporate environment. This roleis designed for students or recent graduates looking to explore a career in the UI/UX field andoffers mentorship, real-world projects, and a chance to build practical skills.This is a full-time (Monday - Friday) On-Site position that is for Surge Staffing HQ located in Columbus, Ohio. Key Responsibilities:● Opportunity to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site mapsto effectively communicate interaction and design ideas for client-facing and internalwebsites● Gain experience in designing and delivering high-fidelity user interfaces that are intuitive,user-friendly, and visually appealing● Learn to develop and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards toensure consistency across production products and platforms● Work closely with developers to ensure the implementation of the design is in line withvision and specifications● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions forproduct direction, visuals, and experienceRequirements:● Good attitude!● Demonstrates a growth mindset and responsiveness to feedback● A portfolio containing coursework, projects, or personal experience that showcases UXand UI design work is a plus● Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, orsimilar● Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices● Excellent communication and collaboration skills● Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software is required● Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plusEqual Opportunity Employer:Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
