When I send out the shuttle schedule for that break, you can indicate which time(s) work best for you. The number of hours will depend on how many time-slots you sign up for, but it's typically anywhere between 2-6 hours per break. Position Description Position Summary Driver for shuttle service that the Office of Student Engagement (OSE) offers to students, driving them to/from the Harrisburg Amtrak station and the Harrisburg Airport before/after major school holiday breaks (fall break, Thanksgiving break, Christmas/winter break, spring break, and Easter break). Major Preferred n/a Experience Required Must be an approved driver on the Messiah University minivan or willing to become an approved driver. Experience PreferredSkills, Characteristics Required for Position Good time management, prompt, reliable. Flexible in last-minute changes as needed. Dress Code Requirements Casual attire (jeans and sneakers) Special Working Conditions Available around the times that most students are usually leaving campus. Schedule is based on what you sign up for. Able to lift up to 30-50 pounds (putting suitcases in vans). Background Check Required No Primary Duties 1. Driver for shuttle service to/from the Harrisburg Amtrak station and the Harrisburg Airport before/after major school holiday breaks. 2. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance. 3. In rare occasions, assist in off-campus driving for events sponsored by OSE. Secondary Duties Other duties as assigned.
