Deliver tailored speech therapy, focusing on language, voice, fluency, and swallowing techniques. Engage with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, and healthcare providers, collaborating to enhance patient care. Equip patients and their families with knowledge and tools to support progress beyond the clinical environment. Provide inpatient evaluations and therapy, ensuring a smooth continuum of care. Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with all regulatory standards. Commit to ongoing education and teamwork to stay abreast of advancements in speech-language pathology. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment. Skills Expertise in evidence-based therapies across diverse demographics, with a focus on speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills for effective engagement with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
