The Performance office tracks savings and waste Bank-wideto support improvements in overall operational efficiency. Position Overview Thisinternship provides broad exposure to procurement operations and performanceimprovement. The intern will support the Procurement and Performance Officeswith day-to-day operational tasks,data organization, analysis, and documentation. The role emphasizes attentionto detail, process understanding, and strong organizational skills, whileoffering hands-on learning in procurement intake, warehouseand inventory support, contract review, procedures, and time studies. Theintern will also work with cross-functional teams andmay have opportunities to present findings and observations to team members andleaders. Role andResponsibilities Assist the Procurement Analyst with management of order intake, including tracking requests, updating logs, and maintaining data accuracy. Support warehouse and inventory management activities, including data organization and basic analysis. Assist with contract review support and documentation tracking. Support process automation initiatives by identifying manual steps and assisting with documentation of improvement opportunities. Participate in time studies and basic workflow observations to support process improvement efforts. Perform Excel-based analysis, including creation and maintenance of pivot tables and charts. Conduct basic data validation and cleanup to ensure accuracy and usability. Assist with administrative and organizational tasks as assigned. Participate in regular check-ins and provide status updates on assigned tasks. MinimumQualifications Currently enrolled in upper-division coursework (junior or senior year) Interested in pursuing a career related to business operations, procurement, performance improvement, or financial services In good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0 Returning to campus following completion of the internship program Reliable transportation to and from the workplace Strong customer service mindset with a collaborative team approach Ability to write and communicate clearly with solid attention to detail Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and basic data analysis (preferred) General proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; PowerPoint is helpful (preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills (preferred) Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines (preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred) Willingness to learn new concepts, processes, and tools (preferred) Familiarity with basic business communications and office environments (preferred) ProgressReview Bi-weekly meetings where the intern reports progress and discusses ongoing work Daily check-ins with the reporting manager for guidance and support Present findings from one major endeavor to senior management near the end of the internship Experienceand Knowledge Development Theintern will work with our team to improve processes, analyze data and presentfindings to leadership.
