Please see Pay Grade Table at: Occupational Category Professional Department Athletics Division Office of the President Open Date 02/25/2026 Open Until Filled Yes Educational and Experience Requirement Bachelor's degree in related field. One year of experience in a related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered. Nature & Purpose of Position Performs routine managerial work administering the daily operations and activities within Athletic Video Office for Sam Houston Athletics. Primary Responsibilities Manages activities of student and graduate staff within the Athletics Video Office. Establishes goals and objectives for film. Develops guidelines, procedures, and rules to record, develop and distribute video. Develops schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals. Coordinates and evaluates department Video activities. Monitors budget expenditures. Coordinates and monitors day-to-day video technology services of the Athletic Department. Provides technical information and support to athletics staff in industry specific film and content editing and distribution software packages. Coordinates goals and objectives for student video staff. Interprets guidelines, procedures, and rules to assist coaches and staff in meeting requirements set by NCAA and Conference USA in regard to video rules and regulations. Schedules student staff, prioritizes film/video needs and procurement, sets best practices for achieving goals set by supervisor and coaching staff. Coordinates with DVSport, other 3rd party vendors/outlets, and NCAA member teams to edit and organize practices, games, cutups, and more in an efficient, effective manner. Follows all university and state purchasing guidelines. Recruits, trains, develops and helps manage student workers. Performs other related duties as assigned.
