Description Conduct thorough evaluations using standardized assessments as well as observational techniques across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics. Craft tailored treatment plans targeting both immediate and long-range communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy emphasizing aspects such as fluency, language, voice, and swallowing capabilities. Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to ensure cohesive care approaches. Facilitate educational sessions for patients and families to encourage ongoing progress beyond the clinical environment. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain a continuum of care throughout your patients' journey. Ensure meticulous documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational requirements. Remain engaged with the latest industry developments through ongoing education and collaborative efforts with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment. Skills Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods applicable to all ages, complemented by a solid grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams. Capacity to modify therapy techniques accommodating diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical acumen and adept problem-solving skills.
