Our client is currently seeking a Specialist, Document Control Job Title: Specialist, Document Control Location: Cary, IL 60013 Duration: 1+ year contract Overview: The Document Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating logs, databases, and catalogs related to product, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance documentation. The role coordinates the review and revision of procedures, specifications, and forms, prepares process and status reports, assigns and monitors document numbers, and reviews documents for accuracy and completeness. The specialist assists in compiling regulatory filing documents and maintaining computerized files to support documentation systems. This is an individual contributor role requiring professional judgment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: Update and maintain logs, databases, and catalogs of product, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance information. Coordinate the review and revision of procedures, specifications, and forms. Prepare process and status reports and manage document numbering. Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Assist with regulatory filing documentation and maintain electronic document control systems. Apply professional expertise and judgment to document control activities with minimal supervision. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a regulated environment. Understanding and application of document control procedures and concepts. Ability to make judgments based on prior experience and established practices. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word and technical writing. Strong working knowledge of document control management processes and practices. Ability to learn new concepts and coach, mentor, or train others. Strong interpersonal skills with tact and diplomacy. Effective analytical problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills. Proactive, flexible, detail-oriented, and highly organized. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
