Job Description About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician with a strong background in industrial controls to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing operations by performing electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of equipment. You'll be relied on to troubleshoot complex systems, support continuous improvement projects, and maintain a safe and compliant working environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on equipment to ensure 100% operational functionality. Identify and log corrective maintenance needs while completing scheduled work orders. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including PLC controls, AC/DC motor controls, solid-state motor controls, advanced circuits, and grounding systems. Interpret and utilize schematics, electrical drawings, and equipment manuals to support maintenance activities. Conduct daily inspections, emergency repairs, and routine adjustments, while following a preventive maintenance schedule. Understand and support company objectives related to productivity, yield, food safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and cost control. Adhere to all safety policies, including GMP compliance, punctuality, hygiene, and professional workplace conduct. Act as a resource to team members in resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues. Participate in safety teams and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Provide innovative solutions to recurring equipment problems and enhance system reliability. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Controls or a similar role. Strong proficiency in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and emergency repair. High School Diploma or GED required. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a must. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take direction and ownership of assigned tasks. Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
