Senior Project Manager - AI Initiatives

Our client, a technology enabled enterprise organization, is seeking an IT Project Manager II to join their team. As an IT Project Manager II, you will be part of the IT / PMO organization supporting Enterprise AI, Information Security, and cross functional business teams. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder communication skills, structured execution discipline, and the ability to lead complex, cross functional initiatives, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: IT Project Manager II Location: Hybrid | 3 days onsite | Davidson, NC Pay Range: $59 - $63/ hour What's the Job? Lead medium to large AI related initiatives including Copilot enablement, AI governance, vendor AI solutions, and AI driven productivity tools Manage cross functional project execution using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies Coordinate resources, schedules, dependencies, vendors, and risks across AI workstreams Ensure compliance with Responsible AI principles, governance checkpoints, security, and risk requirements Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders What's Needed? Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred PMP certification required; Scrum Master certification preferred 5+ years of project management experience managing medium to large initiatives Strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile/Scrum frameworks; experience with Jira Experience delivering technically complex projects (AI experience a plus, not required) What's in it for me?
