Facilities Technician II

Our client is seeking a Facilities Technician II to join their team. As a Facilities Technician II, you will be part of the Facilities & Utilities Department supporting maintenance and operational excellence Job Title: Facilities Technician II Location: Plymouth, MN / 100% Onsite 6 Months Contract What's the Job? Operate, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, vacuum systems, compressed air, emergency generators, power distribution, and city/well water. Contact suppliers and vendors to maintain a full stock of spare parts for facilities and utilities equipment. Establish and execute proper maintenance procedures and schedules based on manufacturer recommendations, equipment manuals, and reliability data. Provide regular maintenance reports and operational updates to peers, management, and internal/external customers. Coordinate assigned work with contractors and vendors related to facilities and utilities operations. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a facilities-related discipline preferred. Minimum of 3 years of facilities maintenance experience is highly preferred. Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMM systems) is advantageous. Boiler certification, Universal Refrigeration License, or proficiency in Excel spreadsheets are a plus. Must have experience and be a member of the Emergency Response Team.
