Certified Nursing Assistant- (PRN)Location: Cromwell, CT, 06416 Employment Type: PRN Pay Rate: $12 - $16/hr; (Negotiable based on experience) Shift: 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. The CNA will provide high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for all residents and patients. Responsibilities: Assist residents/patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting. Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output as directed. Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning patients. Maintain cleanliness and comfort in patient rooms and common areas. Report changes in patient condition to nurses promptly. Support patients' emotional well-being through respectful and compassionate interaction. Follow infection control and safety procedures. Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies. Assist with other duties as assigned by the charge nurse or supervisor. Qualifications: Required: CNA license in good standing in Connecticut. Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
