WI - Physical Therapist - Mauston

Position Summary: The Physical Therapist position assists patients in pain management, decreasing fall risk, improving mobility and independence, and assisting with discharge planning to improve the patient's functional mobility. Position Responsibilities: Treat patients with movement dysfunction or pain to improve their ability to perform daily tasks, decrease risk of adverse events (falls, DVT etc.), improve involvement in work tasks, assist in recovery from surgery and improve patient outcomes. Document all that occurs as it relates to patient care, including evaluations, progress notes, discharges, daily notes, insurance approvals/denials, and phone conversations. Communication: Phone calls between PT and other providers, insurance companies, patients, other rehab staff and supervisor. Cleaning: helping to clean the treatment rooms, assist with laundry, cleaning the bathroom etc. Perform other duties as requested.
