JOB SUMMARY: To safely clean and sanitize processing rooms and equipment while understanding and complying with all Food Safety and Safety policies and procedures. Perform self-inspection (pre-op) in preparation for inspection by Quality Assurance and USDA. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned) • Using high-pressure hoses and chemical applications, clean all equipment being used by production. • Make sure to follow and know all 7 Steps of Sanitation • Perform self-inspection (pre-op) of all general areas (floors, drains, walls, etc.) and equipment in preparation for Quality Assurance and USDA • Ensure all equipment meets sanitation standards as required by USDA and ensure the room is ready on time for production to start processing. OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Understanding of the Company's philosophy and Values. • Must be able to least 20 pounds consistently. • Exposure to toxic chemicals and fumes; personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required. PPE must be always worn while performing tasks. • Able to work in wet, hot, humid, and or even cold conditions. (must wear PPE) • Able to effectively communicate with supervisor and team member
