Packaging - $16.00/hr This is a temp to hire position Integrity Trade Services is seeking an experienced packager for a liquid and dry good storage client located in Hammond, IN. This position requires an individual to be able to comprehend and be trained in the Post Warehouse operations which include connecting customer product hoses and air lines, climbing up and down a ladder to connect airline of no more than 20 feet. Some kneeling to connect customer hoses underneath railcars. Some heavy lifting of up to 45 pounds when unloading empty 55-gallon drums needed for packaging. Wiping down filled vessels and applying customer's labels to filled product. Responsibilities: • Adhere to and follow operating and safety procedures. • Perform proper visual inspections of drums, totes, pails prior to loading according to procedure, verifying they are clean, dry, odor free; and vessel integrity is safe for loading. • Load and unload product from storage tanks, tank cars, tank wagons and ISO containers to storage tanks, tank wagons for shipping, receiving and storing of customer products by hooking up hoses, filters as required, nitrogen or air service as required. • Packaging drums, totes, pails. • General labor. • Manually Unload empty 55-gallon drums from trailers and place them onto pallets to put away into storage until needed for product filling. • Manually stretch wrap filled customer material to pallets. • Execute product transfer from storage tanks, tank cars, tank wagons and ISO containers to blend tanks and vises versus for blending, packaging or shipping, by hooking up hoses and filters as required. • Practice proficient Post Warehouse Operations ISO standards. • Pull product samples from tank cars, tank wagons and ISO containers. • Always conduct good housekeeping practices facility wide. • Promote good customer relations. • Operate a 5,000 lb. sit down propane forklift. • Package customer material from tank wagon or railcars via dedicated hose and nozzle into totes pails and drums according to all ISO procedures Location: Hammond, IN Schedule/Shift Details: 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm / 9:00am - 5:30pm Overtime as needed Qualifications Must regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds Prior experience in packaging Ability to operate a 5,000lb forklift Experience dealing with tank wagon or railcars a plus Why choose Integrity Trade Services?
