JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role combines recruitment responsibilities with support for our Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives. The successful candidate will manage various aspects of the recruitment process, support employee development programs, and lead the coordination and execution of ARGO's Summer Internship Program-including recruiting, onboarding, event planning, and program engagement activities. TIME ALLOCATION Talent Acquisition (60%) Recruitment Coordination: Post job openings, review resumes, and schedule interviews. (18%) Candidate Sourcing: Utilize job boards, social media, and other sourcing channels to attract qualified candidates. (12%) Interview Management: Coordinate interview logistics and communication between candidates and hiring managers. (15%) Candidate Engagement: Maintain ongoing communication to ensure a positive candidate experience. (10%) Full Life Cycle Recruiting for assigned roles. (5%) Summer Internship Program (20%) Intern Recruiting & Selection: Partner with departments to identify intern needs, post intern roles, and coordinate interviews. (8%) Program Management: Plan, organize, and execute the Summer Internship Program, including orientation, intern events, enrichment activities, and program evaluations. (7%) Event Planning: Coordinate intern social events, professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and end-of-program presentations/showcases. (5%) Learning and Development (10%) Assist in organizing and facilitating training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs. (10%) Administrative & Reporting (10%) Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the ATS and LMS. (5%) Reporting: Track and report on recruitment metrics, internship program progress, and training effectiveness. (5%) EXPECTED WORK AND PERFORMANCE (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) Talent Acquisition Support the recruitment process by posting jobs, screening applications, and scheduling interviews. Utilize diverse sourcing strategies-job boards, social media, networking, referrals-to attract talent. Coordinate all interview logistics and serve as primary communication point for candidates and hiring managers. Maintain regular communication with candidates to ensure a positive overall experience. Conduct full cycle recruitment for designated roles. Assist in tracking and reporting recruitment metrics and pipeline activity. Summer Internship Program Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of ARGO's Summer Internship Program. Partner with business leaders to determine intern hiring needs and role-specific requirements. Manage intern job postings, applicant review, interview coordination, and offer processes. Organize intern orientation, professional development sessions, and networking activities. Plan and execute engaging intern events, including kickoff events, team building activities, service events, and final project presentations. Serve as point of contact for interns, ensuring a high-quality experience, program engagement, and consistent communication. Collect and analyze internship program feedback; recommend improvements for future cycles. Learning and Development Help organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs. Assist with developing and updating training materials, including presentations and e-learning assets. Support training needs identification by gathering feedback from employees and leaders. Manage logistics such as scheduling, room setup, materials, and participant communication. Collect and analyze training feedback and report on program effectiveness. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. 1-2+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, or a related field. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of recruitment practices and L&D principles. Experience planning events or coordinating programs (preferred for internship responsibilities). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with ATS and LMS systems preferred. High attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements. Strong collaboration skills across departments. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and business needs. PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE Previous experience in Software, Banking/Finance, or Healthcare environments. Corporate recruitment experience is a plus. Prior experience with internship program coordination or campus recruiting is strongly preferred. Experience with LMS tools is a plus. ATTENDANCE/WORK LOCATION The position is based in our Richardson, TX office. Daily physical presence in the office is required for interaction with co-workers, attending meetings, and for collaboration on projects.
