Training On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience Requirements Current CNA certificationEffective communication with coworkers and residentsWillingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care Job Duties Answer residents' call lights to determine needsTurn and reposition residents while they are in bedProvide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercisingReview dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate dietRecord food and liquid intake and output as necessaryReporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
