Job Title: Engineer 1Job DescriptionThe Engineer 1 position is an exciting opportunity for individuals with 0-5 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor's degree. In this role, you will be responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power-related systems. You will also support estimate preparation, develop design options, and prepare construction specifications.Responsibilities Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages. Ensure a safe work environment by prioritizing safety in all tasks. Understand and apply processes used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance. Collaborate with various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance. Apply knowledge of design practices and work processes. Utilize all software applications used in design effectively. Understand and implement industry design standards. Support the development of design standards and criteria for the system. Assist construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations. Estimate materials for projects and transmit construction packages along with supporting specifications.
