Facilities Technician

Job Type Full-time Description Job Title: Facilities Technician I Department: Facilities FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: Onsite- 202 Salem SUMMARY The Facilities Technician 1 performs a variety of maintenance functions and is responsible for the weekly courier run. This position represents CorePlus with vendors in a professional and workmanlike manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Maintains a basic working knowledge and applied understanding of carpentry, painting, landscape maintenance, electrical and plumbing work. 2. Picks up trash and maintains an overall neat appearance of Credit Union properties. 3. Organizes supply closets and moves equipment from branch to branch as required. 4. Performs courier service between branches on a weekly basis. 5. Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of Credit Union vehicle(s). 6. Assists Facilities Technician II as needed. 7. Requirements Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • 1-2 years of experience in the construction or maintenance field. • Ability to use small hand and power tools. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with others. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle. A satisfactory driving history is a prerequisite of this job.
