Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Worker Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician needed ASAP to perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks on facilities, buildings, and equipment across various sites, working under general supervision. This role requires hands-on skills in multiple trades and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions. Job Details: Rotation Schedule 12-hour shifts includes alternating weekends Wages: $18-$25 per hour Benefits: Health-Dental/Paid Holidays/PTO/401K + Match Key Responsibilities: 1. Repair & Maintenance: o Perform routine repairs and maintenance on facilities, grounds, and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, glazier, and painting tasks. o Repair and maintain structural elements such as showers, floors, sinks, walls, carpets, and roofs. o Conduct minor repairs and adjustments on food processing equipment like conveyors and bearings. 2. HVAC & Refrigeration: o Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems as needed. 3. Production Line Maintenance: o Inspect the production line to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot as necessary. o Develop and implement safety policies for maintenance tasks and adhere to all safety protocols. 4. Technical Assignments: o Plan and execute maintenance services, including technical repairs and adjustments. o Terminate and troubleshoot wiring for both AC & DC voltages. o Use equipment such as a plasma cutter and acetylene torch as needed. Working Conditions: • Physical Requirements: o Must have the stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move for extended periods. o Comfortable working in confined spaces, high and low temperatures, and stressful situations. • Availability: o Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed. Skills and Knowledge: • Technical Proficiency: o Skilled in using various power and hand tools, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks. o Able to troubleshoot electrical systems, including AC & DC voltage wiring. o Experienced with conveyor belts driving equipment • Coordination & Documentation: o Excellent coordination skills and thorough documentation ability to track maintenance activities accurately. • Communication & Teamwork: o Strong communication skills, both written and oral. o Able to build and maintain effective working relationships and follow instructions from supervisors.
