EDI Developer

Akkodis is seeking an EDI Developer for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will design and enhance EDI maps while managing trading partner configurations and resolving complex process failures . Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. EDI Developer job responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain Business Processes (BPs), services, adapters, and routing rules within IBM Sterling Integrator / B2B Integrator. Build, modify, and optimize EDI, XML, flatfile, and IDoc maps using Sterling Map Editor to support various trading partner and ERP requirements. Configure and manage trading partner setups, communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, FTPS, VAN, OFTP2), and endtoend document routing workflows. Troubleshoot complex EDI and SI issues including BP failures, communication errors, translation failures, queues, and routing discrepancies. Monitor system logs, message flows, and dashboards to proactively identify integration issues and ensure stable, highvolume EDI operations. Collaborate with business, ERP (SAP/Oracle/JDE), and infrastructure teams to resolve EDI transaction issues and support partner onboarding through testing and production cutover. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 8-10 years of handson experience in EDI development and integration using IBM Sterling Integrator / B2B Integrator. Strong proficiency in developing Sterling BPs, EDI/XML/flatfile mappings, and managing communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP/FTPS, and VAN. Proven experience supporting highvolume, multisystem EDI environments with strong troubleshooting, incident management, and tradingpartner onboarding capabilities.
