Executive Director -Non Profit PhoenixProConnect, LLC Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area (On-site) Executive Director - Education-Focused NonprofitAbout the Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and entrepreneurial Executive Director to lead and enhance an established nonprofit platform dedicated to transforming the education system. The ideal candidate will be a mission-driven leader with a strong track record in nonprofit management, fundraising, and community engagement and a deep commitment to educational equity and impact. Position Overview The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and fundraising expertise to drive the growth and long-term sustainability of the organization. Reporting directly to the Governing Board, this individual will lead the organization's day-to-day operations while building strategic partnerships and advocating for the organization's mission within the education sector. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Governance Oversee daily operations, (future ) staff, and programs to align with the Board's vision and long-term goals. Act as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors and all external stakeholders. Lead the development and implementation of internal policies and strategic initiatives. Provide consistent reporting and insights to the Board on financials, development, and impact. Ensure compliance with nonprofit laws, governance best practices, and reporting requirements. Fundraising & Development Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including individual giving, grants, corporate sponsorships, and special events. Cultivate relationships with donors, philanthropic foundations, corporate partners, and high-net-worth individuals. Oversee grant applications, submissions, and reporting requirements. Lead donor stewardship efforts and implement campaigns to expand funding sources. Execute and manage fundraising events to support revenue goals. Financial & Operational Management Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in partnership with the Board Treasurer. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure transparency in financial reporting. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and operational systems (CRM, accounting, etc.). Ensure all financial activities align with the mission and compliance requirements. Community & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the public face of the organization, strengthening relationships with key partners, government agencies, and the broader community. Represent the organization at industry events, public forums, and media opportunities. Oversee public relations, branding, and communication strategy, including digital content and outreach. Program & Strategic Development Evaluate current programs and design new initiatives that address critical gaps in the education system. Use data and KPIs to measure and improve program impact. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration. Align programs and staffing with the long-term strategic plan. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in nonprofit leadership or senior management roles, preferably in education or youth-focused organizations. Demonstrated success in fundraising, major gifts, and donor engagement. Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and operational expertise. Excellent communication and public speaking skills. Proven ability to build and sustain partnerships with diverse stakeholders. Deep passion for education reform and a commitment to equity and access.
