Overview We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist II, sometimes referred to as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRI Technologist, Computer Tomography Technologist (CT Tech), or X-Ray Technologist (X-Ray Tech). As the Radiology Technologist II you will specialize and be responsible for operating X-Ray machines, CT scanners and/or MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient's internal organs and tissues. You will assist in diagnosing medical conditions and the treatment plan process, by producing high-quality images that help healthcare providers make informed decisions about our patient care. New graduates with no experience are welcome to apply!Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Prepare patients for their X-ray, CT or MRI scans by explaining the procedures, addressing any concerns or questions, and ensuring that patients are comfortable Operate MRI equipment, CT scanners and/or X-ray machines to obtain images of the targeted body parts, which may involve adjusting scanner settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, radiation safety at all times Assist other radiologists, as you will work closely with them, who interpret the images you produced, you may also assist in administering contrast agents or perform certain procedures Adhere to strict safety protocols to protect both patients and you from potential hazards associated with MRI technology, such as strong magnetic fields Responsible for maintaining radiologic supplies, making sure the equipment is in good operating order, and following protocols regarding infection control and hygiene QualificationsBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
