Senior Azure/Entra ID Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Azure/Entra ID Engineer for a Contract with a client in San Francisco CA/ Cincinnati, OH. Candidates must have deep expertise in Conditional Access, Identity Protection, MFA, and PIM while building and troubleshooting enterprise identitysecurity integrations. Rate Range: $64/hour to $ 68 /hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Senior Azure/Entra ID Engineer job responsibilities include: Build, configure, and maintain Azure/Entra ID identitysecurity components including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, MFA, PIM, and devicecompliance integrations. Translate IAM architectural designs into productionready identity configurations and ensure alignment with enterprise security policies. Troubleshoot and resolve advanced authentication, authorization, and identitysecurity issues across cloud and hybrid environments. Implement identitybased security controls to strengthen Zero Trust posture and enhance user and device access protection. Collaborate closely with IAM Architects, security teams, and cloud engineers to support secure deployment and continuous improvement of identity services. Monitor identityrelated logs and alerts, perform rootcause analysis, and contribute to operational documentation and support processes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience). 8-10 years of experience in identity and access management, including deep handson work with Azure AD/Entra ID security controls. Proven expertise configuring and troubleshooting Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, Identity Protection, and devicecompliance integrations in enterprise environments. Strong ability to translate IAM architecture into productionready configurations and resolve complex authentication and identitysecurity issues.
