Title: Infrastructure Architect Employment: Fulltime Location: Culver City, CA Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect with deep expertise in Linux, Windows, VMware, cloud platforms, automation, and large-scale migrations. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and govern enterprise infrastructure across on-premise, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability for mission-critical applications. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Architecture & Design Architect end-to-end infrastructure solutions across on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments. Define technology standards, best practices, and governance frameworks. Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations. Operating Systems & Platform Engineering Architect and manage Windows Server, RHEL, and Oracle Linux environments. Lead OS hardening, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management. Conduct L3/L4 troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical issues. Virtualization Lead VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) and Nutanix infrastructure design and operations. Configure HA, DRS, clustering, fault tolerance, and storage integration. Plan data center migrations, virtualization upgrades, and performance optimization. Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) Design, deploy, and manage cloud environments including compute, storage, IAM, networking, and monitoring. Build secure VPC/VNet architectures and hybrid-cloud connectivity. Implement cloud governance, cost optimization (FinOps), security, and compliance controls. Lead migration strategies including re-host, re-platform, and modernization. Automation, DevOps & Configuration Management Implement automation using Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, and DevOps practices. Develop provisioning, configuration, and compliance automation workflows. Build integrated monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions. Security, DR & Compliance Implement OS hardening, IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management. Design and maintain enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions. Support compliance audits and ensure closure of remediation actions. Operational Excellence Lead SRE-style reliability practices, SLAs, and uptime targets. Oversee incident management, change management, and RCA processes. Generate HLDs, LLDs, SOPs, runbooks, and architecture documentation. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Work closely with application, business, cloud, and security teams. Manage OEMs, service providers, licensing, and vendor negotiations. Present architecture solutions in leadership and technical forums. Must-Have Skills Strong ability to design secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure architectures. Deep hands-on experience with Windows Server, RHEL, and Oracle Linux. Expertise in VMware, Nutanix, virtualization optimization, and HA architectures. Strong cloud architecture experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Experience with Terraform, Ansible, DevOps pipelines, GitHub, and Citrix. Strong networking fundamentals - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, firewalls. Solid understanding of security, compliance, DR/BCP frameworks. Experience with automation, scripting (PowerShell, Bash), and observability tools. Expertise in L3/L4 troubleshooting and RCA. Good-To-Have Certifications: AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, Nutanix. Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. FinOps and cloud cost optimization experience. Experience in large enterprises or MSP environments (24×7 operations). Knowledge of ITIL, SRE practices, and modern observability stacks. Hands-on experience with data center and cloud migration programs.
