Network Security Engineer

Our client is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join their team and play a key role in securing enterprise network environments. The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing secure network solutions while proactively mitigating threats. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT. Network Security Engineer's Responsibilities and Duties: Design, configure, and maintain network security solutions using Zscaler and Fortigate technologies Implement and support VPN solutions including IPSec, SSL, GRE, DMVPN, and L2TP with a focus on security best practices Manage and optimize NAT configurations, firewall rules, and routing tables to ensure performance and security Monitor, analyze, and respond to network threats using IPS/IDS tools and advanced threat mitigation strategies Support and maintain Radware DDoS protection solutions Contribute to the deployment and ongoing improvement of zero-trust security frameworks Network Security Engineer's Qualifications and Skills: At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Zscaler and Fortigate technologies Strong expertise in enterprise VPN technologies and related security implications Proficiency in firewall rule optimization, NAT, and routing analysis Experience with DDoS protection, IPS/IDS, and threat mitigation tools Familiarity with zero-trust architecture and secure SD-WAN deployments Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills RightClick is an equal opportunity employer who agrees not to discriminate against any employee or job applicant irrespective of race, color, creed, alienage, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, gender (including gender identity), marital status, sexual orientation, citizenship or any other characteristic protected by law. #LI-AM1 #LI-Onsite
