Project Manager with AWS cloud & Big data knowledge

Job Summary The Project Manager will lead Agile delivery initiatives with a focus on AWS cloud and Big Data projects. This role involves guiding teams in Agile/Scrum practices, managing multiple system or product implementations, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across stakeholders. The position requires strong leadership, a servant-leadership mindset, deep familiarity with Agile methodologies, and hands-on experience supporting data and cloud-focused project environments. Key Responsibilities Guide teams and the broader organization on effectively applying Agile/Scrum principles and practices. Plan, coordinate, monitor, and support implementation activities across multiple small- to medium-scale systems or products. Support team self-organization and help close gaps within the Agile/Scrum framework. Assess Agile maturity across teams and coach them toward higher levels of effectiveness. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Shield the team from interruptions and proactively identify and remove impediments. Serve as a buffer between the team and process overhead to maintain development focus. Foster a safe, trusting environment where issues can be raised openly without fear of blame. Facilitate discussions, decision-making, conflict resolution, and consensus building. Improve transparency by managing internal and external communication effectively. Keep stakeholders informed of team progress, risks, and impacts. Support the Product Owner in grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Use a servant-leadership approach to support and enable the team's success. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing Agile methodologies. Business analysis skills and the ability to partner effectively with product owners and business partners. Knowledge of Work Intake and Release Management processes. Mandatory experience working on data projects. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and Big Data technologies. Experience managing large Big Data projects (25-30 team members). Ability to work with stakeholders across all levels. Preferred Qualifications CSM, CSPO, or equivalent Agile certification. Experience supporting small Agile implementations (1-5 teams). Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Experience in financial services environments.
