Choose from local and layover routes (routes assigned based on driver seniority). Deliveries are made easier with customer orders pre-picked on plastic pallets. Route trailers come equipped with liftgates and powered pallet jacks for efficient unloading. Tractors and trailers are assigned based on driver seniority. Delivery routes typically start between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Flexible schedules are available with four- and five-day work weeks and consecutive days off. Extra work opportunities on the 5th and 6th day are available with paid incentives. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and other related duties. Physical Requirements Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling products weighing between 20-80+ lbs throughout the shift. Able to drive and work in varying weather conditions with multiple stops (10+ per shift). Qualifications Must be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse. Minimum age of 21 years. A valid CDL Class A license from the state of residency with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. At least six months of commercial driving experience (one year of foodservice experience preferred). Preference for candidates who can operate manual transmissions; this may be required in certain locations. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English and understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports. Compensation is determined by relevant experience, educational background, specific skills, job function, geographic location, and other applicable factors. The training base rate for this position is $33.43 per hour, transitioning to component pay after training based on miles, cases, and stops, with hourly pay for downtime.
