ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: Pay Grade GEN13 $92,300 - $133,800 - $175,400 HOURS: 40 CAMPUS: Greenville Tech Foundation GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES In this challenging role, you will be supporting the FA - Foundation & Alumni department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following. Plan,develop, and implement activities associated with an annual fund campaign,major gifts and gift planning, increase endowed funds, capital campaigns,constituent relations, and all other activities within the mission of theGreenville Tech Foundation and Greenville Technical College. Oversee allholdings of the Greenville Tech Foundation. Direct and manage the staffof the Greenville Tech Foundation. JobFunctions Strategic Fundraising Leadership and Campaign Management (30%):Direct and leadmajor capital campaigns aligned with academic and facility master plans,ensuring strong fundraising strategies for capital needs, endowments, andannual giving initiatives.Implement sophisticated, data-informed developmentpractices across all phases of donor engagement including, but not limited to,qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and planned giving togrow sustainable philanthropic support. Advancement,Marketing, and Public Relations (20%):Establish and maintain modern,high-impact fundraising, marketing, and public relations programs, ensuringpractices align with the latest standards and innovations in the nonprofit andhigher-education advancement sectors.Enhance the institution's local andnational visibility and reputation through coordinated external communicationstrategies and proactive relationship-building. Community,Government, and Business Engagement (15%):Build and steward strategicrelationships with community leaders, business partners, governmentalofficials, and key organizations to elevate the College's presence and expandcollaborative opportunities.In collaboration with college leadership createopportunities that highlight our institutional success at community, state, andnational events, representing the Foundation and the College whilestrengthening institutional influence and partnerships. BoardRelations and Governance Leadership (10%):Serve as an ex-officio member of theFoundation Board of Directors, cultivating strong relationships with trusteesand working closely with the board chair to support effective governance,strategic alignment, and overall Foundation advancement.Engage board members asambassadors and partners, strengthening their involvement in fundraising,advocacy, and community engagement. OrganizationalLeadership and Staff Development (10%):Inspire, mentor, and guide Foundationstaff, establishing clear expectations and fostering a culture ofaccountability, collaboration, productivity, and goal-driven performance.Ensureteam alignment with institutional priorities, providing direction and supportthat drive measurable outcomes.Oversee the Foundation budget and ensureresponsibility management of all Foundation held funds, maintainingtransparency, fiscal discipline, and alignment with donor intent.Implement bestpractices in financial governance, ensuring the Foundation's long-termfinancial health and capacity to support the College's mission. Enterpriseand Property Management (10%):Provide executive oversight for GTC FoundationLLC, GTC McAlister LLC, and other ventures, ensuring sound operationalmanagement and strategic alignment with Foundation and College goals.ManageFoundation owed property assts to maximize value, support institutional needs,and advance long-term financial stability. Otherduties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree and proven experience in major gift/development, donor relations, sales or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been acquired may be substituted. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Masters degree plus five years (5) in progressively responsible related work experience and at least five (5) years fundraising experience. Prefer relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative service.Demonstrated ability to communicate the college's vision and mission to a national and global audience attracting significant new donors to the institution and student scholarships. Knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to charitable giving and charitable trusts; strong leadership skills, public speaking skills and relationship building skills; must have the ability to develop strong community relations with all groups, organizations and business sectors within the college's service area; understand principles of property management; understand basic principles of equity and bond investing and investment portfolio management; and ability to work with college leadership teams and departments in determining needs. Demonstrated record of leadership and accomplishment in new donor cultivation and advancement with a proven track record of fundraising success, especially with campaign planning execution and in major gift solicitations. Strong organizational, supervisory, and leadership capabilities. Demonstrated ability to successfully solicit numerous major and principal gifts. Demonstrated history of building advancement program and fund-raising performance. Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to affect favorable sophisticated volunteers and donors.
