HVAC Ductwork Installer Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Ductwork Installer! We are looking for an experienced professional who will fabricate, assemble, install, and repair HVAC ductwork and related components on commercial projects. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read construction drawings and work safely on active job sites, we encourage you to apply! Key Responsibilities Fabricate and expertly install sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and HVAC components. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications with precision. Measure, cut, bend, and fasten sheet metal using both hand and power tools. Ensure duct systems are installed according to SMACNA standards and project requirements. Seal, insulate, and securely support ductwork to industry standards. Coordinate effectively with HVAC installers, foremen, and other trades for smooth project execution. Ensure job site safety and compliance with OSHA regulations at all times. Manage materials and tools efficiently on job sites, including loading and transportation. Identify and promptly report any field issues or discrepancies in drawings. Maintain high-quality workmanship and adhere to productivity standards. Qualifications & Experience 2+ years of HVAC sheet metal installation experience (commercial projects preferred). Strong ability to read blueprints and understand duct layouts. Experience working with spiral, rectangular, and lined duct systems. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, brakes, shears, and lifts. Sound knowledge of HVAC codes and installation best practices. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and using ladders or lifts. Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work overhead for extended periods. Preferred (Not Required) OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Completion of SMACNA training or an apprenticeship. Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC systems. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay ranging from $20 - $36+ an hour based on experience.
