Company : enGen Job Description : JOB SUMMARY Due to Department of Defense (DOD) contract requirements, the incumbent who fills this position must be a US citizen and must also pass a background check. The Business System Specialist acts as a key resource for United Concordia dental applications, focusing on supporting daily operations and addressing system issues. This role collaborates closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to analyze challenges, clarify requirements, and identify root causes related to data, configuration, and system functionality. The specialist aids in managing production incidents, provides insights on expected application behavior, assists in defining testing scenarios, reviews system changes in test environments, and partners with United Concordia to ensure that updates fulfill business needs prior to release. Success in this role requires systems thinking, effective communication, and the ability to balance support, testing, and analytical tasks in a dynamic environment. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Engage with customers, Software Engineers, Architects, Capability Managers, and other team members to capture capability needs and foster high-quality business solutions. Develop and maintain deliverables such as business vision, requirements, tailored personalization for different clients, and user interface designs. Participate actively in the complete software development life cycle through Agile scrum teams, taking on roles including Scrum Master, Business Technical Analyst, User Interface Designer, Capability Manager, or Tester based on experience and team requirements. Assist with various aspects of requirements testing (e.g., testing plan, scenarios, documentation, defect management) to ensure minimal production defects and conduct analysis to correlate results with customer impacts. Ensure adherence to required standards and secure all necessary approvals throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate effectively with team members, customers, partners, and management, facilitating requirement walkthroughs and sprint reviews, reporting project status, enabling vendor solutions, and providing clear documentation. Pay Range Minimum: $57,700.00 Pay Range Maximum: $107,800.00 Base pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, along with market conditions and internal equity considerations.
