Description: Must be able to take call at least two days each week. Must be available for 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule depending on the need. Experience in cardiovascular surgery is required. Travel experience is preferred. All requirements for time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval of time off will be based on the facility's needs. The facility is permitted to call off 1 shift every 2 weeks. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a CVOR setting. Modules and pre-assignment testing are required before starting. Experience with EMR (minimum 1 year) is required. Travelers must float to other units or campuses when requested due to census concerns. Staff will float only to units they are qualified for. All competencies must be documented and demonstrated. No pending licenses will be accepted. All certifications must be current and valid. This position requires participation in weekend and holiday coverage. Candidates should be comfortable with a varied patient population, including adults and geriatrics. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with special procedures as needed. Documentation skills are essential.
