In this influential position, you will play a vital role in the design, development, and deployment of our next-generation GenAI Platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will architect and implement robust backend systems while helping to introduce innovative GenAI capabilities to Oracle Cloud customers. Your technical skills will ensure the security, scalability, and performance of our systems, propelling OCI's mission to deliver intelligent cloud experiences. In this critical position, you will: Design and implement automation pipelines for infrastructure, security, and compliance, ensuring seamless policy enforcement throughout the product lifecycle. Architect concurrent, multi-region topologies on OCI, deploying service stacks across multiple regions to ensure high availability and optimal performance. Create, implement, and optimize large-scale analytics pipelines and the associated infrastructure, balancing consistency, availability, and performance. Develop production-quality MLOps workflows using internal OCI tools and platform services, promoting reproducible training pipelines, model fine-tuning, and deployment strategies with progressive rollout capabilities. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A minimum of 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with direct responsibility for designing, building, and operating large-scale backend systems. Extensive programming knowledge in Java, Python, or Scala, with a proven history of delivering production-quality solutions. Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (OCI, AWS, GCP, Azure), along with proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Demonstrated experience in architecting and managing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-based infrastructures (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure preferred). Practical experience in deploying and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Solid understanding of DevOps/ML Ops practices, with hands-on involvement in the development, deployment, and management of analytics/ML models in a production setting. Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger). Knowledge of RDBMS, query optimization, and NoSQL data stores. Proven ability to resolve complex technical challenges and actively contribute to problem-solving in high-impact projects. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor colleagues while being directly involved in implementation work. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field. 12+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, backend engineering, DevOps, or ML Ops roles. Certifications in cloud computing, security, or DevOps methodology are a plus. Experience with large-scale analytics workloads (Spark/Data Flow, Autonomous Data Warehouse, Object Storage). Track record of building production-ready MLOps workflows and deploying ML/AI models at scale. Experience in designing secure, automated, and compliant infrastructure in regulated environments. Advanced coding skills in Python and Java, plus knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Hive). Prior experience with major production systems, operations, or cloud support in high-availability domains. Strong understanding of cloud platform architectures (AWS, OCI, Azure) and operational best practices. Thorough knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering practices. Experience in driving technical vision for AI-powered analytics solutions. Responsibilities As a Senior Consultant in Technical Solutions, you will define and evolve high-performance cloud scale services using a microservices architecture. You will establish best practices for software development to quickly deliver high-quality software solutions. By identifying business KPIs, you will develop impactful solutions that address our customers' challenges effectively.
