OneSparQ is looking for a Stormwater Technical Manager for an engineering consulting firm based in Tampa, FL.Required Skills:10+ years of experience in stormwater engineeringActive Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license requiredProven experience delivering Florida-based stormwater projects, such as flood mitigation, drainage improvements, and resiliency initiativesStrong proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modelingDemonstrated experience working with multiple Florida municipalitiesAdditional Skills: (not required)Experience with coastal community projectsResponsibilities:Provide expert-level guidance on stormwater engineering to ensure all project deliverables are technically sound and meet regulatory and quality standards.Lead and oversee technical execution across stormwater projects, serving as the go to subject matter expert for internal teams.Support business growth in Florida by identifying emerging stormwater needs, tracking upcoming opportunities, and helping shape a strong project pipeline.Anticipate market trends and advise leadership on future project focus areas and strategic positioning within the Florida stormwater sector.Represent the company in client-facing settings with professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust and rapport.Collaborate closely with the business development team to bridge technical expertise with forecasting, client engagement, and pursuit strategy.Provide high-level insight into both the technical and commercial aspects of stormwater work to support proposal development, client conversations, and long-term planning.
