Training Specialist Overview The Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that enhance employee skills, improve performance, and support organizational goals. This role ensures that training initiatives align with company objectives and comply with industry standards. Reports To: Director of Human Resources Department: Human Resources Job Status: Exempt Responsibilities: Design & Development Create engaging training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and presentations. Customize programs to meet departmental and organizational needs. Delivery Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for employees at all levels. Use interactive methods to ensure knowledge retention and engagement. Assessment & Evaluation Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps. Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, testing, and performance metrics. Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Update training content regularly to reflect changes in policies or procedures. Collaboration Partner with HR, department managers, and subject matter experts to align training with business objectives. Support onboarding programs for new hires. Qualifications Minimum Associate's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field. 2-3 years in training, instructional design, or related role. Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools. Experience with Paycom HRIS preferred
